You've misread my comments Ian. I was in no way knocking your advice, It's basically what is on the Ladle site so why would I ???

I was just defending Dr Ladle's site after your sly swipe at it.
The guy has gone to the trouble to document his catches and methods and he looks at it from a scientific point of view. I'd say that's a good starting point for someone looking for info.
If I wanted to learn about spinning and plugging in UK waters, I'm not aware of a better site than his, that's all I'm saying, no hidden agenda ;-)
